UPDATED: Davenport North, Harrison placed on lockdown

Two schools in the Davenport Community School District were placed on lockdown Tuesday due to a situation in a nearby neighborhood.

Davenport North High School and Harrison Elementary were placed on lockdown as a safety precaution.

Witnesses reported seeing a person with a sword or long knife on N. Gaines St. near North High School.

One person has been taken into custody in connection to the situation.
