DAVENPORT (Bettendorf Growl) — Police have identified a body found along I-80 on Thursday.
Bobby Jo Shouse-Byrd, a 50-year-old from Davenport, was found on Thursday near the Wisconsin Avenue overpass.
The westbound traffic on the freeway was diverted for about 30 for a preliminary investigation.
The Davenport Police Department, Scott County Sheriff's Department and the Iowa State Patrol responded to the scene near Mike Marker 291.
No further information has been released at this time.
