Las Vegas gunman born in Quad Cities Area

CLINTON, Iowa (Bettendorf Growl) — Clinton County birth records provide information that Las Vegas gunman Stephen Paddock was born in Clinton. 

Paddock was born on April 9, 1953 at Jane Lamb Hospital, now a part of the present-day Mercy Hospital network. 

There is no indication as to how long Paddock lived in Clinton as it has been reported Paddock grew up in Tucson, Arizona and Sun Valley, California. 

Paddock killed 58 and injured more than 500 when we opened fire from his 32-story hotel room onto a Las Vegas crowd of 22,000 concert-goers, earlier in the week.
