Bettendorf Middle School to host first fall community yard sale

Bettendorf Middle School will host its first Fall Community Yard Sale and Bazaar on Saturday, October 14 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the school's field.

All are invited to come sell or browse a wide variety of merchandise and food.

Spaces of various sizes can be rented to sell a wide variety of items such as second hand surplus, hand-made trinkets, home business merchandise, or coupon overstock goods that need a new home.

Once a space is rented, sellers can keep their own profits.

Food trucks are invited to participate in the BMS Fall Community Yard Sale and Bazaar. Vendors are asked to call 563-359-3686 to reserve a spot.

Water and baked goods will also be provided by the middle school's Bake Club.

Funds raised will be used for the Student Projects Fund and hands-on learning.The fund allows teachers to request unique instructional resources, special materials, and non-traditional supplies. Profits will also help provide transportation to select off-campus educational experiences, and allows teachers to bring in outside experts to share their expertise with students.

Bettendorf Middle School is located at 2030 Middle Road. The field the event will take place on is located on the north side of the building.

Additional parking will be available in the city lot at Faye’s Field at 18th Street and Learning Campus Drive.
