Life-threatening cold continues as wind chill advisory extends to Thursday


Hazardous temperatures will continue into the middle of the week as a wind chill advisory is extended from 9 p.m. Wednesday through 10 a.m. on Thursday.

Temperatures Wednesday morning will start out around 6° with wind chills as low as -10° to -15°. Temps on Wednesday night will reach lows of -8° with wind chills near the -20° to -25° mark.

Thursday's high will reach 7° with wind chills as low as -20° to -25°.

Frostbite can occur in just minutes if proper precautions are not taken. It is recommended to refrain from being outside for long periods of time.
