HERE IS A LOOK AT TODAY' TOP STORIES AT BETTENDORF HIGH SCHOOL
NEW: Are you interested in starting your own business? Confused on where to start? Do you have a knack for landscaping or working outdoors? Interested in summer employment? A new PRIDE offering, 'Starting Your Own Business,' will be hosted by a Bettendorf graduate who has started his own business. He will share what he has learned about following your passion. The PRIDE offering will take place on Friday, Feb. 2.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet Wednesday morning, Jan. 31 at 7:40 a.m. The meeting will take place in the PE classroom, F200. You are asked to bring a friend or teammate to share in the experience.
Harry Potter Club will meet Thursday, Feb. 1 following the school day. The meeting will take place in classroom C300. The club says everyone is welcome to attend.
The Photography Club meeting has been cancelled for the week of Jan. 29.
Scholastic Bowl will meet Wednesday, Jan. 31 following the school day. The meeting will take place in Ms. Conrad's classroom, D268.
Students who took the PSAT will be able to learn and interpret their score on Tuesday, Jan. 30 in the PAC during PRIDE. Please sign up starting Sunday night under Ms. Cole's PRIDE. You will receive a paper copy of your score report as well as your test booklet. This is the only offering of this PRIDE
Bettendorf's LGBTQ+ club will host a trivia night on Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. Come test your knowledge on current events, culture, history, and geography. Teams can consist of five-eight people and will cost $3 per person. Please see Mr. Hopkins to sign up.
