HERE ARE TODAY'S HEADLINES FROM BETTENDORF HIGH SCHOOL
Local and miscellaneous scholarships have been updated and made available for seniors on the Student Services website. The school says many opportunities are available and to pay attention to deadlines and requirements needed.
French Club will meet Friday, Feb. 2 following the school say in the choir room for the crêpe party.
Harry Potter Club will meet Thursday, Feb. 1 following the school day in classroom C300. The club says everyone is welcome to attend.
Team trivia will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 7 6 p.m. in the Bettendorf High School Commons. Teams will consist of 5-8 players and will cost $3 a person. A variety of topics will be covered in the events. Please see or contact Mr. Hopkins via email to sign up.
Are you interested in starting your own business? Confused on where to start? Do you have a knack for landscaping or working outdoors? Interested in summer employment? A new PRIDE offering, 'Starting Your Own Business,' will be hosted by a Bettendorf graduate who has started his own business. He will share what he has learned about following your passion. The PRIDE offering will take place on Friday, Feb. 2.
