HERE ARE TODAY'S TOP HEADLINES AT BETTENDORF HIGH SCHOOL
Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 7:40 a.m. in the PE classroom, F200. You are invited to bring a member to the meeting.
Students interested in pursuing a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematical (STEM) careers are eligible to take part in a 5-8 week apprenticeship over Summer 2018 and earn a $1500 education stipend. Students are asked to stop in Student Services for further information.
Student Council Election Packets are now available in the Activities Office for those interested in running for office
The National Youth Science Camp is seeking two Iowa high school seniors to attend the National Youth Science Camp this summer in the mountains of West Virginia and visit Washington, D.C. to exchange ideas with scientists and other professionals from academic, governmental and corporate worlds. This camp includes lectures, overnight outdoor trips into the Monongahela National Forecast, and a trip to Washington, D.C. The students meet scientists and students from across the nation and experience hands-on research projects as part of this life-changing program. The selected delegates must not only demonstrate academic achievement in science, but also show potential for thoughtful scientific leadership. The NYS Camp experience is offered at no cost to its participants. Delegates arrive in Charleston, West Virginia, on Wednesday, June 27, and depart on Saturday, July 21, 2018.Learn more and apply here.
