Road closures to begin Monday in downtown Bettendorf

New road closures will begin the morning of Monday, April 2 as the construction of the new freeway bridge continues in downtown Bettendorf.

The right lane of 14th Street will be closed between Grant Street (U.S. 67) and the current I-74 westbound (Iowa bound) entrance ramp as crews make repairs to 14th Street and construct the new U.S. 67 to I-74 westbound ramp.

The closures will last until late summer.

Shoulder closures and intermittent nighttime lane closures will occur between the downtown and Middle Road as crews install new storm sewers. This work will take place until late 2018.

Intermittent nighttime lane width restrictions will also occur on the Middle Road to I-74 westbound entrance ramp.
