Girls track sending 22 girls to state meet

The state track qualifying meet was last Friday, May 10, at North Scott, and Bettendorf is looking forward to sending many girls to the state meet which will take place on the May 16-18. At the qualifying meet, 15 girls beat their personal record and Jaeda Bowling broke the school record for the 100 meter hurdles with a race of 15.64 seconds.
The girls track team looks forward to sending 22 girls to the state meet at Drake Stadium. The 22 girls qualified in 15 different events. The qualifiers are as follows:
Sprint Medley: Katie Girsch, Avery Horner, Maggie Erpelding, and Allison Whitaker
4x800: Sarah Schmidt, Amanda Scott, Hannah Beintema, and Sarah DeFauw
Shuttle Hurdle: Claudia Johnson, Grace Gasper, Jaeda Bowling, and Gillian Borden
Alternates: Delaney Speth and Allison Dykstra
100 Meter Dash: Avery Horner and Katie Girsch
Distance Medley: Erin McQuillen, Maggie Erpelding, Allison Whitaker, and Sarah DeFauw
Alternates: Annika Skogman and Hannah Beintema
400 Meter Dash: Annika Skogman and Sophia Utsinger
4x200: Erin McQuillen, Maggie Erpelding, Avery Horner, and Katie Girsch
