Planning ahead for Homecoming

With homecoming week approaching, students may be wondering what events are going on, where to get a dress, where to take pictures, where to go for dinner, and what to do after. Here are a few ideas to make your homecoming week a success.

Homecoming Events

Float Decorating - Sept. 29 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the bus barn

Powder Puff - Oct. 2 at 6:30 p.m. at Touvelle Stadium

Parade - Oct. 3 at 6 p.m., Starting at Splash Landing and ending at Bettendorf High School

Coronation - Oct. 3 after parade at Touvelle Stadium

Assembly - Oct. 4 from 2:40 to 3:20 p.m.

Football Game - Oct. 4 at 7 p.m. at Touvelle Stadium

Dance - Oct. 5 from 8:30 to 11 p.m.

  3.   3. Rent some movies, buy snacks, and have a movie night or go to the movie theater

  4. Play night games

  5. Make breakfast for dinner

  6. Have a bonfire, make s’mores, and drink apple cider or hot chocolate
